Custom development
Custom stainless steel rings.
Bands, signets and statement pieces developed to your dimensions, weight and finish — the category where proportion decides whether a design reads as premium or as costume.

KUBO Jewelry produces custom stainless steel rings — plain bands, signet rings, stacking rings, dome rings and statement pieces — in 304 or 316L stainless steel, with optional PVD colour coating, laser engraving, sizing from US 4 to 13, and widths from 2 mm to 12 mm.
Rings are the most demanding category in stainless steel, because the material leaves nowhere to hide. A band is a closed curve of constant section: any inconsistency in thickness, any flat spot on the polish, and the eye finds it immediately. It is also the category where weight does the most work in perceived value.
What decides the price
Three variables, and the third is the one buyers underestimate.
Material volume, not just size. A 6 mm comfort-fit band uses substantially more steel than a 3 mm flat band, but it also needs more polishing time. Weight is the dominant cost driver in rings.
Inner profile. Comfort-fit interiors — slightly convex, with eased edges — are the expectation at mid and premium price points now. They cost more to machine but are noticeably more wearable, and returns on uncomfortable rings are expensive.
Size range. If you offer sizes US 4–13, that is ten distinct SKUs per design before colour is considered. Tooling and minimum quantities are usually set per size band rather than per exact size, but the practical effect on your first order is significant. Many brands launch with three or four sizes and extend later.
Design notes by market
Band width and section are the two variables that differ most between markets. American and Middle Eastern buyers skew toward wider bands and larger surface areas for engraving, while buyers in Germany, the Netherlands and the Nordic markets tend toward narrower, lighter profiles. Asian markets often sit between the two, with a preference for slimmer profiles at smaller diameters. Same design, different section — and that difference is worth deciding before sampling rather than after.
Signet rings have remained commercially strong, particularly in the UK, the US and the Gulf, and they suit stainless steel well because the flat face takes a deep, clean engrave. If a crest or monogram is central to the design, specify the engrave depth and the flat area at the brief stage; a face that is too small to carry the mark legibly is the most common signet failure.

Stone setting is not part of our standard capability. If a design requires set stones, tell us at the brief stage and we will say plainly whether it is something we can deliver rather than quote for it and subcontract the risk.
